What you can expect from tiptoe care foam:
tiptoe care foam is a care foam with a patented peptide based on amino acids naturally found in the body. You use it as part of a daily routine for the skin around your nails:
Use tiptoe care foam together with tiptoe naildrops: you apply the drops to the nail, and the foam cares for the skin around it.
tiptoe care foam can be used by adults and by children from age 4 (with adult supervision). People use it when their nails or the skin around them look different: thickened or misshapen nails, discolouration (yellow, brown or black), deposits, brittle or splitting nails, and changes in the skin around the nail.
It also works as everyday care for sporty feet, after the swimming pool or the sauna, or after a visit to a podiatrist.
Not sure whether it’s a fungal nail? Ask your GP or a podiatrist.
Apply tiptoe care foam twice a day to the affected nail and the skin around it, ideally in the morning and in the evening. Make sure the foam also gets under the free edge of the nail. Let it dry before you put on socks or shoes.

Yes. Many people tackle fungal nails at home with the tiptoe routine: naildrops for the nail, care foam for the skin and protect your feet for your feet and shoes. Using all three together makes the most sense. If your nail is badly affected, or you have diabetes, take medication or are pregnant, the wisest first step is to talk to your GP or a podiatrist.
A fungal nail infection develops when fungi grow on or under the nail. It comes from the bacteria and fungi that live on your skin. If they get the chance to get into a nail, a fungal nail can develop, usually on the feet and sometimes on the hands.
Fungi live naturally on the skin and under the edges of the nails. Moisture, warmth and damage to the nail (from sport, the sauna, tight shoes or stubbing a toe) give them the chance to spread. Very sweaty feet raise the risk. Thick, discoloured nails can also have other causes, especially later in life.
A fungal nail usually doesn’t cause serious symptoms, but many people feel embarrassed because it doesn’t look nice. The skin around it can itch or turn red, and if the fungus grows a lot, there can be an unpleasant smell.
Yes. The foam cleanses and cares for the skin between your toes, where an infection often starts, so you don’t reinfect your nails via the skin. If you wear closed shoes a lot, combine the foam with tiptoe protect your feet for your feet and shoes.
