Fungal fingernails

Fungal fingernails: what helps on your hands

When you think of fungal nails, you probably think of feet. But a fungal nail infection can affect your fingernails too. That’s annoying, because your hands are always on show. You can care for fungal fingernails at home, the same way as toenails: peptide drops at the base of the nail, every day, while the nail grows out. Do mention it to your GP as well, so your hands and feet are looked at together.

Caring for fungal fingernails at home

You’ll often recognise a fungal fingernail because the nail turns yellowish or whitish, thickens or crumbles. It often starts from athlete’s foot or a fungal toenail, or on hands that are often wet, for example from cleaning or work.

Fungal fingernails are often treated with tablets from the GP or with laser treatment, and neither suits everyone. The tiptoe routine is a different approach: you do it yourself, at home, in a few minutes a day.

Twice a day, you apply tiptoe naildrops at the base of the affected nail, where new nail grows. Keep the skin around the nail clean and dry, and use your own towel. Are your toenails or feet affected too? Then care for them at the same time, because a fungal infection can pass from your feet to your hands and back again.

  • Painless: you apply the drops yourself, at home
  • No appointments and no waiting lists
  • The affected nail grows out, so give it time and stick with it
  • Fragrance-free and colour-free, also during pregnancy and with medication

Fungal nail care with a patented peptide at its core

Our patented peptide came out of scientific research. And we’ve been looking at fungal nails every day since 2018.

Published research

Scientific publications have been written about the peptide in tiptoe naildrops.

Made from amino acids

The peptide is made from amino acids naturally found in the body and is biodegradable.

Patented formula

The peptide is the result of years of study and research by microbiologists. It’s patented, and tiptoe holds the exclusive licence to use it.

Fragrance-free, colour-free

Suitable from age 4, also during pregnancy and with medication. For external use only.

What you need for your hands

For fungal fingernails, you start with tiptoe naildrops. Are your feet affected too? Then the starter kit has all three steps: naildrops, care foam and protect your feet. You’ll find the current prices in the shop.

  • Start with naildrops for your fingernails
  • Feet affected too? The starter kit covers nail, skin and feet

The tiptoe routine

A complete peptide routine to use at home

The trick isn’t rubbing harder. It’s sticking with it. Three steps that work together: apply, care and protect.

  1. A bottle of tiptoe naildrops with its dropper: peptide drops for fungal nail care

    tiptoe naildrops

    Twice a day

The active step. You apply the drops with the patented peptide at the base of the nail, where new nail grows.

  2. A bottle of tiptoe care foam, a care foam for the skin around the nail

    tiptoe care foam

    Twice a day

The skin around the nail and between your toes. Leave it untreated and it can reinfect the nail. Back to square one.

  3. A spray bottle of tiptoe protect your feet, a spray for feet and shoes

    tiptoe protect your feet

    Every day

On your feet and inside your shoes, so you don’t reinfect yourself while the new nail grows out.

Think months, not weeks. A nail grows about 1 mm every 6 weeks, so sticking with it is what makes the difference. Not sure which steps you need?
