More than half of Dutch people have had a fungal nail at some point. Young, old, man or woman, it can happen to anyone. Sometimes it’s on your fingernails, but usually on your toenails. So they get carefully tucked away and hidden from view. What a shame.

Fungal nails, we see them all day long. And believe us, we’ve seen it all. So are you a little shy about showing your feet? There’s no need, because the embarrassment disappears as soon as you walk through our door. And the happiness begins when one of our specialists takes you in hand.

How it works

More than half of Dutch people have had a fungal nail at some point. Young, old, man or woman: it can happen to anyone. Here’s how we help you, in four steps.

Consultation
At a free consultation in one of our tiptoe salons, we talk through the treatment and what to expect, and take photos of your nail or nails for a before and after comparison. You’ll then get a treatment plan and a quote by email.

Before treatment
Before treatment, we check that it really is a fungal nail and not another condition, such as a ram’s horn nail or psoriasis. If we’re not sure, we send a small piece of nail to a laboratory to confirm it.

Treatment
The specialist draws up a treatment schedule of four sessions: three within ten days and a fourth after three weeks. We take photos along the way to follow your progress.

Aftercare
After recovery, prevention is key: cleaning your shoes, disinfecting your feet after swimming, boiling your nail clippers. You can come back once a year for a free check-up.
