About tiptoe

About tiptoe

Fungal nail infections are common, especially later in life. They’re stubborn, and they call for a serious, honest approach. That’s why Peter Boeters started tiptoe. Our home routine for fungal nail care grew out of years of experience in our salons in the Netherlands, where we see fungal nails every day. We’re the Dutch fungal nail specialists, and we’ll always tell you straight what to expect.

Fungal nails are a nuisance, and a lot of people end up hiding their feet. You’re far from the only one.

The story behind tiptoe

Peter Boeters is the founder of tiptoe. In the Netherlands, many people know him as ‘de Kalknagelkoning’, roughly ‘the fungal nail king’. At his practice in Capelle aan den IJssel, near Rotterdam, he spent years working with fungal nails every day. Together with a team of specialists, he then opened tiptoe salons across the Netherlands. Our home routine is built on that same experience, so you can look after your nails wherever you live. The goal hasn’t changed: bare feet on the beach, without feeling self-conscious.

Welcome. Shoes off, flip-flops on.
