Our fungal nail specialist draws up a treatment schedule with you, of at least four treatments for a mild infection. If your infection is more severe, you’ll need more treatments.

Biopsy (microscopic nail examination)
Sometimes we can’t tell for certain with the naked eye whether you have a fungal nail. In that case we take a small piece of the nail, a biopsy, and send it for microscopic examination in the laboratory. The result of the tissue examination takes about three weeks. It costs €75.00 for the toenails and the same amount for the fingernails, so €150.00 at most.
Extended laboratory testing
If testing shows you don’t have a fungal nail but you do have symptoms, there’s an option for more extensive laboratory testing. The cost of this isn’t known yet.

Everything for your routine at home is in the tiptoe starter kit. This kit costs €49.95 (incl. VAT) and contains the following products:
