Result in a 7-year-old girl

She got fungal nails after putting on her mother’s shoes. (She thought they were lovely and of course only wore them “at home”.) Normally nothing would have happened, but her mother had fungal nails, and that’s how the child picked up the fungus.

We can treat children from age 7 too, and the treatments are painless.

How long treatment takes

A fungal nail develops over time, and recovery takes time too. Think months, not weeks. A nail grows about 1 mm every 6 weeks, so new nail comes through slowly while the old, affected nail grows out.

Nail growth differs from person to person, so we match the length of your treatment to it. How long it takes depends on how deep the infection goes.

When you’ve been living with it for years

One of our clients had been seeing a dermatologist for quite some time, but still had complaints. She got in touch and followed PACT therapy with us, together with someone close to her.

Many people go around with these complaints for months or even years. Results vary from person to person and depend on how deep the infection goes.

The fungus can still be lurking after treatment, of course. That’s why we always recommend coming in once a year for a check-up, so we can see straight away that everything’s still in good shape. If needed, we give our clients products so they don’t reinfect themselves.
